The South Glasgow Heritage & Environment Trust (SGHET) was formed in 2001 (under GHET) to advance education in heritage and environment issues through the promotion of interest, appreciation, preservation, improvement and sustainability of all matters related to the heritage and environment of the Gorbals.
SGHET is run by a management group of local people and others interested in researching, preserving and maintaining the rich environment and heritage of the Southside.
Change is inevitable and the area has seen plenty. However, it is important to preserve our past whilst looking to the future.
